If You’re feeling out of kilter
don’t know why or what about
let your feet reveal the answer
find the sore spot, work it out.
Eunice D Ingham
The ‘Mother’ of Reflexology
Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the theory that the whole body is mapped out on the feet. It is believed that congestion or tension in specific areas of the foot reflects similar conditions in corresponding parts of the body.
What is Reflexology?
During your treatment you remain fully clothed, except for your shoes and socks.
Using just my hands (no tools) I will apply gentle pressure techniques to your feet to stimulate points and zones which correspond to organs, systems and structures within your entire body.
This ancient treatment often feels like going into a deeply relaxed state where you’re not fully asleep but you’re not fully alert either, it’s a sort of meditative ‘zoned out’ state, lots of people do nod off asleep for a few moments and that is perfectly normal!
Reflexology is a powerful balancing treatment and while some areas may feel a bit tender, it doesn't hurt or tickle, I promise!
What Happens During a Session?
This wonderful holistic therapy encourages your own healing systems to be activated, aiming to reconnect and restore balance between your mind, body, and emotions.
